Today we will create a facial serum with vitamin C combined with the gel of the popular Tremella mushroom (also known as snow mushroom).
The serum works intensively to improve complexion, hydration and has a strong impact on the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines.
Namely, Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps protect the skin from harmful free radicals and plays a key role in the production of collagen, a protein that keeps the skin firm and elastic. The ingredient Smartvector UV-CE also plays a significant role in the serum. It is a vector system that preserves vitamin C and only becomes active in its action under the influence of UV rays or skin enzymes. So, without fear of phototoxicity and regardless of the protection factor.
Tremella extract is a large molecule (more than 1MDa molecular weight) with the sugars mannose, xylose and glucuronic acid (20%). The latter is most important because glucuronic acid is the main component of hyaluronic acid (HA). Thanks to this, Tremella is an excellent moisturizer with a slightly higher water retention capacity than hyaluronic acid itself.
The recipe also contains cold-pressed cucumber seed oil , which soothes the skin.
We have added the wonderful emollient Sensolen Care DD to the formulation, which reduces transepidermal water loss, protects the skin barrier and increases skin elasticity.

Production
- Heat the oil phase (Emulgade, Lanette, cucumber seed oil, Sensolen, Acticire) in a water bath to 65°C.
- Rub xanthan gum with propanediol, add water and heat in a water bath to 65°C. Emulsify.
- When the temperature drops below 40°C, add Vegeluron, Geogard and fragrance. Emulsify.
- Finally, add Smartvector UV-CE and mix gently (without turbine).
