Dear Mireille community, and especially aromatherapy enthusiasts,
Thursday of Formulation Week is dedicated to the world of essential oils and aromatherapy, and especially their role in the cold and flu season.
Today we’ll make an aromatherapy stick, a practical and powerful ally that you can carry in your bag, pocket, or by your bedside.
This stick is not a cosmetic product, but an aromatherapy tool; formulation intended to facilitate breathing, open airways and relieve tension through gentle inhalation.
Why aromatherapy?
Essential oils have an exceptional effect on:
- airways
- feeling of tension in the head
- relaxation of the muscles around the nose and sinuses
- feeling of freshness and easier breathing
It is a completely natural, fast and safe way to support the body during the virus season.
What oils will we use?
We choose oils suitable for inhalation and support for colds: eucalyptus radiata and ravintsar. We combine everything very carefully, in safe doses for stick dermal application.
- explain the difference between inhalation and dermal application of essential oils
- make an aromatherapy stick for colds and flu (2 minutes)
- demonstrate how to use it safely
The stick is small, compact and durable, and also perfect as a DIY holiday gift.
Workshops from 2020–2023 that include an aromatherapy segment are now available at a 40% discount and will be archived after this week.
If you want to delve deeper into the world of essential oils, this is your last chance.
