My dears,
Most people take care of their hair, but few understand their scalp. And without understanding the scalp, there is no real result. Have you ever considered that the scalp is an extension of the skin on your face? Most people don’t, and instead accept it as part of “hair.” However, the scalp is a specialized area of skin that contains hair follicles (where hair is produced), sebaceous glands (sebum), blood vessels (supplying nutrients), the nervous system, and the microbiome. It is not just the top of our heads, but a very, very biologically active system.
That’s why in the week ahead at Mireille Lab, we’re not talking about hair, but about what’s underneath it. Watch the video!
