NanoVit oA

Bioactive nutrients for the skin (omega 3,6,9 and 7)

Nanoemulsion with wolfthorn pulp oil.

This oil has a unique fatty acid composition; it contains more than 50% polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially omega-7, which is rarely found in the plant world. Encapsulating the oil in the form of a nanoemulsion also enhances penetration and protects against oxidation. NanoVit oA prevents lipid peroxidation, while at the same time affecting the skin’s metabolism, ensuring its healthy and youthful appearance.

OMEGA-7

  • A component of skin lipids
  • Stimulates the creation of skin cells
  • Antimicrobial activity
  • Nourishes and soothes skin reactions
  • Strengthens the skin’s hydra-barrier

OMEGA 6 & 3

  • Essential polyunsaturated fatty acids
  • Structural components of cells and their membranes

CAROTENOIDS

  • Antioxidant
  • Provitamin A

TOCOPHEROLS, TOCOTRIENOLS

Palmitoleic acid

Blackthorn oil contains a high concentration of palmitoleic acid, or omega-7. This is a very rare fatty acid; a component of skin sebum, which stimulates the formation of cell tissue and promotes wound healing. As an important factor in the skin’s lipid barrier, palmitoleic acid also exhibits antimicrobial activity and has a smoothing and soothing effect on the skin.

Linoleic and linoleic acid

Key polyunsaturated fatty acids, which skin cells do not synthesize and must be provided as a nutrient. They are precursors to a number of other fatty acids, one of the most important of which is arachidonic acid, which in turn is a precursor to other important metabolic factors. In addition, linoleic and linoleic acids are structural components in every cell membrane and help to regenerate the skin and support its functions.

Vitamin E

Naturally present in the skin, where it is one of the most important antioxidants. The lipophilic molecule is located in the lipid membrane, within the bilayer, and prevents the spread of lipid peroxidation phases. Moreover, vit.E has an anti-inflammatory effect and enhances the activity of enzymes present in the skin.

β-carotene

The most abundant pigment in the oil of the pulp of the blackthorn. Among other things, it is responsible for the intense orange color of the berries. In the skin, β-carotene is converted into retinyl ester and thus becomes a precursor of vitamin A. β-carotene is a powerful antioxidant and easily penetrates the epidermis from topical formulations. There it acts against free radicals, the formation of which is stimulated by the action of UV rays. UV-A rays in particular quickly destroy β-carotene in cells, so it must be replenished after exposure to sunlight. Scientists have recently discovered that natural β-carotene in combination with vitamin E is much more powerful than synthetic β-carotene.
