Small wellness rituals – Detox week

Detoxifying salt bath

Detoxifying with a salt bath is not the same as pouring table salt into the bath. Detoxification salt baths usually contain Epsom salt , which, with the help of minerals , improves metabolism and in some way cleanses toxins from the body. Studies speak in favor of Espom salt:

  • Helps in weight regulation
  • Relieves muscle pain
  • Relaxes

Epsom salt looks similar to table salt, but it is a completely different compound. Epsom salt is made up of magnesium and sulfate, while table salt is sodium in the chloride form.

Epsom salt has been used for over 400 years, ever since an English farmer discovered that the “bitter water” in his wells had remarkable healing properties on skin rashes and injuries.

Magnesium absorption is the biggest benefit of an Epsom salt bath. More studies are needed to confirm that your body can absorb magnesium through your skin, but one 2004 study looked at 19 participants and found increased levels of magnesium and sulfate in the blood after bathing.

How to make a bath: Pour 2 cups of magnesium sulfate into the bathtub under running water.

We recommend that you do not use bubble baths, soaps or shampoos when bathing in magnesium sulfate. Let it be a bath exclusively for relaxing all the tension in your body. If you can, put a diffuser in the bathroom and put mandarin essential oil in it. It is enough to take a bath 2-3 times a month.

Aroma bath

If you want to enjoy the benefits of essential oils through baths (body, feet), you must immediately face one potential problem – essential oils are not water-soluble and if used as such in water, they can cause some unwanted reactions on the skin, especially in the intimate area. However, this has come to an end with the arrival of the raw material Imwitor LiteMuls . (INCI: Glyceryl Citrate/Lactate/Linoleate/Oleate, Polyglyceryl-4 Cocoate, Polyglyceryl-3 Caprate, Glyceryl Caprylate) In addition to being 100% natural, it is also approved by Cosmos.

With it, you can easily make bath oils, shower oils, make-up removal oils, make-up removal balms, baby products, and light lotions for skin care after sun exposure in spray form. This time we will carefreely enjoy aromatherapy through a bath. The preparation is very simple, all the ingredients are just weighed and mixed, and poured into the tub. The possibilities of combining are numerous, depending on the purpose of the bath.

We bring you a bath to relax your muscles after sports or any other physical exertion.

Oil after shower (oil to milk)

And finally, enjoying a wonderful lemon after a shower. I’m sure most of you like to apply oils to your skin after showering. As aromatherapists, we always recommend applying oils to wet or at least damp skin. But then we run into problems with slow absorption, dry skin, and the like. This whole week I’ve been enjoying lemon with the help of Olivem 300 and a few other herbal oils, and my skin is wonderful. I apply the oil I made to really wet skin or just pat it gently with a towel. Here’s a wonderful recipe

It’s quick to make, just weigh everything, mix and apply to the skin. Of course, you can use any oil you like, but don’t miss out on lemon, especially in the winter. And definitely try this one, because I’ve NEVER used a more wonderful lemon.
