We’ve prepared beauty treats – Check out what’s cooking in the second mentoring program

Last weekend was lively at Mireille’s premises. The workshops were in full swing, and on Sunday we had guests arriving. 9 fantastic participants completed their journey from zero to a new cosmetic product, and they mastered everything – from the anatomy of the skin to finance, marketing, legal regulations and the production of the cosmetics itself, as well as the ceremonial presentation, and before them is the analysis and launch of the product on the market.

At the official presentation, Mirela pointed out that the latest statistics show that 92% of the money spent on cosmetics in Croatia goes to foreign manufacturers, but – it’s time for a change. And the innovations and new trends created within the mentoring program and the passion of (future) owners of regional beauty brands and the support of bloggers, journalists and marketers that they gained within the program – indicate that manufacturers have a real opportunity.

What was being done and what new products await us?

Goddess Belina

“As I have been working in a pharmacy for many years and actively participating in the creation of various recipes for my patients, whether for cosmetics or medicinal purposes, I have developed a great affinity for making such preparations. The only logical idea, along with my passion for nature and the Mediterranean lifestyle, was the inspiration to enroll in a mentoring program and start following my dreams and achieving my goals.” – emphasized Božica, who developed a complete slow age cosmetics line consisting of facial cleansing foam, serum and cream during the mentorship.

“This program gave me a breadth of perspective on formulating products that I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to acquire elsewhere,” said Božica, who wants to convey with her cosmetics that every woman should feel like a goddess in her own body, and that cosmetics should serve as a tool on that path.

Jasminka Saric

Jasminka has been in the world of cosmetics for ten years, and in the mentoring program she developed two completely new products. “The mentoring program helped me gain new knowledge and confidence, which resulted in the creation of even 2 new innovative products that will soon be on the market.” – says the owner of the Allianthe brand, which she developed in the program a powder bath for the feet of people with dry and sensitive skin and people suffering from diabetes and diabetic foot, and a balm with probiotics for the care of the feet of people with diabetes.

Sanja Kovacicek

“The mentoring program was love at first sight. I wanted to learn in detail and go through every topic in order to market the product correctly.” – says Sanja, who created a product in the program that has never been found on our market before. She created a unique 3-in-1 product that will quickly style and tame young hair, while also nourishing and providing antioxidant protection against blue light and urban pollution, without harmful ingredients and perfumes like most products contain.

“Mirela is the best mentor in the world, always ready to help and give constructive suggestions. I have learned a lot in this program and I am still learning, and time will tell where this experience will take me,” says the enthusiastic Sanja, whose product has already caused a lot of reactions with its first posts on social networks.

Snježana Juricic

Beautician Snježana wanted a home care product that would allow clients to have the salon effect last as long as possible. “The idea is for a woman to get at home exactly what her skin needs at that moment, and not to research drugstore products and thus “go crazy” in the selection, waste time and money, and the result should not be absent but spoil what was achieved with the treatment in the salon.” – emphasizes Snježana, who is the record holder in the number of formulated products in this round of the program, and many have attracted attention with attractive and modern active ingredients and top-notch textures.

Daniela Šivak

“Although I already have my own cosmetics brand and have been in this field for some time, I wanted to consolidate my knowledge and get information that is sometimes really difficult to obtain. With this program, I got the security I needed and finally have the support I was missing.” – emphasized Danijela, who already has wonderful products rich in top-quality ingredients such as donkey milk, jojoba and snail slime in her offer.

Ivan Gabre

Ivana Gabre, a great supporter of low tox life, in a group known for high standards in the selection of its ingredients, focused on femininity and self-care and intimate parts of the body. Her products for intimate care are premium formulations that really do not exist on the market, and through such a product she will have the opportunity to raise awareness of these very important topics that are still a big taboo in our society.

“Participating in the mentoring program met my expectations and goals. As the end approached, everything we had been through up until then really made sense,” the pharmacist told us.

Zvjezdana Veselinovic

Zvjedana, who came to the program from Bosnia and Herzegovina looking for something unique for herself, said that Mireille’s mentorship resonates in the region as well.

“There was a wonderful, creative and working energy and atmosphere in the development phase that certainly made our products even better. I am grateful to have met great women with brilliant ideas,” said Zvjezdana, whose line will touch on another big taboo – sexuality. Her Sexy slider is a type of cosmetic toy that also nourishes and moisturizes the sensitive intimate area. It also acts as a lubricant because it contains, in addition to oil and butter, vegetable silicone and protects against friction. We have no doubt that this will be a memorable product.

Lana Vitas

“This comprehensive program is actually much more than I expected because in addition to knowledge, I received a ready-made product for laboratory testing, mentoring support at every moment so far, and I have also connected with a circle of truly wonderful women (and men).” – emphasized another pharmacist who came close to realizing her dreams in the mentoring program.

“I worked on fermented raspberry products. Fermented cosmetics is a very interesting direction since fermented cosmetic ingredients have better absorption and a greater amount of active substances. I also wanted a plant that grows in my region (Slavonia). Fermented raspberries are the ideal combination of these two things,” says Lana, who bravely followed a new major trend in the world of cosmetics.

These will be brands led by women supported by knowledge, teamwork and attention to detail. And knowledge is the foundation of self-confidence and imagination. We look forward to micro-earthquakes of excitement on the regional beauty scene, and the entire team will be rooting for our mentors with all their hearts!
