Science

AC Water Kefir PHA is standardized to 18-24% natural gluconic acid, obtained by fermentation of Lactobacillus and prickly pear extract. PHA (polyhydroxy acids) are a new generation of acids that:

  • gently removes dead cells
  • hydrate instead of dry out
  • stimulate cell renewal and collagen synthesis
  • they are also suitable for reactive and couperose skin

Key effects (confirmed by studies)

Concentration – Effect on collagen (fibroblasts) – Effect on cell renewal
0.01%: +46% collagen synthesis and +320% greater renewal compared to the basic formula
0.1%: +46% and +320%
1.0%: +20% increased Ca2+ in keratinocytes (collagen indicator) and +320%
