Citriodiol® is a natural active ingredient for use in insect repellents, effective against a variety of mosquitoes and other arthropods. It is produced by a simple modification of the oil obtained from sustainably harvested leaves of the Eucalyptus citriodora tree.
The main component is p-menthane-3,8-diol (PMD).
Recommended applications

Instructions for working with Citriodiol®:
- Before use, heat to 50–60 °C and stir until the crystals are completely dissolved.
- Avoid temperatures above 70 °C to prevent browning.
- Store in the original container, in a dry, cool and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
Citriodiol® is approved by ECOCERT as a raw material that meets COSMOS standards for natural and organic ingredients.
- It does not contain GMOs, nanomaterials, heavy metals or PBT substances.
- Suitable for the production of products with COSMOS Natural or COSMOS Organic certificates.
Safety notes:
- Causes serious eye irritation.
- Possible allergic reaction in sensitive individuals (due to the presence of natural terpenes such as citronellol, limonene, eucalyptol and linalool).
- It is recommended to use personal protective equipment when handling.
