Description
Inci: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract.
Recommended concentration: dosage 0.05 – 0.1% in case of saturated fats, 0.2 – 0.4% in case of polyunsaturated oils. EU declaration, if used in food and supplements: natural antioxidant rosemary extract or natural antioxidant E 392.
Rosemary antioxidant extract 14% is a dark brown viscous liquid at room temperature with a mild odor. The product may curdle during cold storage or prolonged standing at room temperature. Heating to 40°C restores the liquid consistency. This product has antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, important for slowing the oxidation of fatty oils, carotenoids and essential oils. It is also used in the food industry (dressings, sausages, snacks, etc.) and in food supplements and cosmetics.
Composition: 7 – 10% of antioxidant reference compounds: phenolic diterpenes, carnosic acid and carnosol calc. as carnosic acid s> 6% carnosic acid; volatile flavor compounds< 2%, water< 1%, ethanol< 0.5%, sunflower oil (organic), waxes.
