Description

Oléoactif® are a new generation of bioactive complexes extracted from oil. They are the first 100% natural and bio-certified cosmetic active ingredients with scientifically proven effects both in vitro and in vivo. Oléoactif® is created by using vegetable oil to transfer the biological footprint of the plant directly into an oil-based complex. They are stable, non-oxidized, highly concentrated biomimetic active ingredients that are easy to formulate into almost all cosmetic products.
Inci: Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Quercus Suber Bark Extract, Oak Root Extract
Recommended concentration: 0.5 – 5%
Description: oil-soluble thick liquid, Ecocert
How to use: in the fat phase before emulsification or at the end of the formulation process or directly in anhydrous formulas.
Application:
  • Sensitive, reactive skin
  • Protection and reassurance

DIAM Oléoactif® is an ecologically designed oil-based active ingredient , 100% natural and organic, obtained from cork oak and coconut oil through the patented Oléo-éco extraction technology. It is intended for sensitive and reactive skin, and acts as a natural shield against aging. Oak cork nodule is a by-product of the cork production process. It is very rich in anti-inflammatory molecules (> 50% triterpenes). This highly active raw material is combined with oak roots, leaves and flowers, rich in polyphenols. Virgin coconut oil was chosen for its high content of chain triglycerides, which allow for the perfect vectorization of active molecules within the skin. Thanks to this synergy, DIAM Oléoactif® is a very powerful, completely safe and highly stable ingredient.
The main characteristic of the aging process is the overall reduction of the skin’s ability to cope with oxidative stress factors, and the associated and progressive increase in skin inflammatory conditions (Elvira et al., 2011). Inflammation is one of the first responses of the immune system to infection or irritation. There are many causes of inflammation: UV radiation, pollution, stress or autoimmune disorders such as psoriasis and rheumatoid arthritis.
