ORIGIN OF RAW MATERIALS
Natural – Sustainable – Safe
Composition
- Sodium Cocoyl Amino Acids: a mild surfactant, based on plant amino acids (wheat, rice, barley) that form part of the natural moisturizing factor (NMF), gently restores oil to the skin.
- Coco Caprylate/Caprate: a natural plant ester, mild and hydrating.
- Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate: an effective natural mild surfactant with a high HLB, contributes to the silky feel of the skin.
How does Doam Cocoyl Amino Acids work?
The texture changes from a water-in-oil microemulsion (feels like oil on the skin) to an oil-in-water emulsion upon contact with water (turns into milk/lotion, and then into foam).
A typical simple formula:
- PHASE A: Foam Cocoly Amino Acids 10-30%
- PHASE B: Oils and butters 70-90%
- PHASE C: Fragrances, oil-based active ingredients 0-5%
Using
- 10%: Facilitates oil rinsing, transparent product, removes make-up and excess sebum.
- 15%: The oil turns into milk, ideal for facial cleansers or balms.
- 20% and above: The oil creates foam, suitable for shower oils, bubble baths, shampoos, facial cleansing oils.
The process of making sparkling oil
Measure the oil phase and Foam Cocoyl Amino Acids separately, melt the butters in the oil if using, add the essential oils or active ingredients, then slowly add the Foam Cocoyl Amino Acids while mixing. DO NOT homogenize or overmix.
