This natural active blend, which acts as a deodorant, is highly effective against microorganisms that cause unwanted body odor. The synergistic composition of sodium caproyl/lauroyl lactylate with triethyl citrate and clary sage oil, shows an efficacy comparable to synthetic reference products with low use concentrations. The results of an in vivo study prove the 24-hour deodorant activity. Soft Decalact Deo can be used in U/V emulsions as well as in aqueous or alcoholic solutions.

Recommended concentration: 0.3-1%

Appearance: clear, yellowish to brownish liquid

PRODUCTION PROCEDURE
U/W emulsion
1. It is recommended to add Soft Deocalact Deo to the oil phase. Adding to the water phase is possible, but the mixture has a tendency to separate.
2. Heat up to 80 °C. Do not maintain high temperature for a long time.

For water-based products
Clear soluble at pH 6.0 – 6.2. Use buffer system to stabilize pH. Dissolve with ethanol (35 – 40%) or solubilizer.
In hydrogel formulations: addition after formation of the gel network may be recommended.
