SOLAGUM™AX is a natural thickening polymer that is a combination of acacia gum and xanthan gum. Acacia gum is obtained from Africa, where the local population participates in obtaining it, thus maintaining a sedentary lifestyle. Acacia forests are a natural defense against the expansion of deserts.

SOLAGUM™AX is instantly soluble in cold and hot (70°C - 80°C) water, allowing particle dispersion and non-sticky feel in aqueous gels. It can be used in all types of formulations: care, foams or hygiene products.

How to use:
– for emulsion: before emulsification, add SOLAGUM™AX to the hot, melted oil phase or to the water phase (warm or cold) to form an aqueous gel
– for creamy gel: add SOLAGUM™AX to the oil phase before mixing with the water phase

Application:

  • Natural thickening polymer
  • Products: cream, gel, lotion, milk, emulsion
  • Suitable for use in oral and vaginal care: up to 2% in oral leave-on products, up to 1% in vaginal products for external use
