“Inflammaging”, or aging accelerated by chronic inflammation, is becoming one of the key concepts driving the development of the cosmetic industry. Cannabinoids and especially cannabidiol (CBD) have become extremely important active ingredients in the field of anti-inflammatory skin care, and scientific research is further stimulating the development of formulations in this direction. AC Hemp Oil Liposome PF uses the anti-inflammatory properties of hemp oil and combines them with modern liposome encapsulation technology, which increases the stability and effectiveness of the active ingredients.

Description
Inflammaging describes the association of chronic inflammatory processes with the development of most age-related diseases. Inflammation is one of the main drivers of the skin aging process because it leads to the breakdown of the extracellular matrix, which results in the formation of wrinkles and loss of skin firmness. Inflammation is the body’s natural defense mechanism that helps in tissue healing and protection from damage. However, long-term and low-intensity inflammation gradually exhausts the skin’s defense systems, causing the degradation of collagen and elastin and the disruption of the skin barrier function.
Using cosmetic products with anti-inflammatory active ingredients can help reduce and prevent these processes.
Hemp oil
The hemp plant has been used for thousands of years for its nutritional and functional properties. Historically, it was used to produce rope, canvas, paper, and textiles. Today, it is gaining importance again, especially through the use of hemp oil in cosmetics and wellness products.
Hemp oil is obtained by cold pressing specially bred varieties of the Cannabis plant, which contain negligible amounts of psychoactive compounds such as THC. As a rule, such varieties contain less than 0.3% THC, which is why the oil does not have psychoactive properties.
AC Hemp Oil Liposome PF is produced from hemp oil rich in CBD, one of the most famous cannabinoids.
Scientific basis
Hemp contains more than 400 different bioactive compounds, including:
- cannabinoids
- terpenoids
- terpenes
- flavonoids
These compounds act synergistically, enhancing the biological effects of cannabidiol. This phenomenon is known as the “entourage effect” – the concept that the combination of all the natural compounds in a plant produces a more potent effect than an isolated molecule.
Cannabinoids are powerful anti-inflammatory agents that act through:
- inhibition of cell proliferation
- reduction of cytokine production
- regulation of immune responses
- inducing apoptosis of certain cells.
AC Hemp Oil Liposome PF uses liposome technology to encapsulate hemp oil, improving its stability and effectiveness in cosmetic formulations.
Liposome technology
Liposomes are microscopic vesicles composed of a phospholipid membrane and an aqueous core, which enable the transport of active ingredients through the skin. The structure of liposomes is very similar to the structure of cell membranes, which allows them to combine with skin lipids and effectively transport active substances into the deeper layers of the epidermis.
Advantages of liposomes include:
- improved penetration of active ingredients
- increased formulation stability
- possibility of targeted delivery of active substances
- controlled release of active ingredients.
Activity
AC Hemp Oil Liposome PF shows:
- strong anti-inflammatory effect
- antioxidant properties
- reducing levels of the IL-6 cytokine, associated with chronic inflammation and skin aging
- improving hair hydration, shine and manageability in hair care products.
Studies have shown that a 1% concentration can reduce IL-6 levels by up to 99%, indicating strong potential for reducing inflammatory processes associated with skin aging.
