Coconut oil / Refined

Coconut oil is obtained by cold pressing copra (dried coconut meat). At room temperature, coconut oil has the texture of a solid fat, while at higher temperatures it turns into an oil.

It is rich in short-chain fatty acids such as caprylic, lauric and myristic acids. These short-chain acids easily enter the hair structure and also easily penetrate the skin.

Refined oil provides the same functionality of oil, but without the coconut aroma, which will not affect the formulation of the product. It absorbs well, hydrates and can be an excellent carrier for other types of oils that penetrate the skin less. It is used for skin care, it can be used alone or in combination with other butters, vegetable and essential oils.
