Cosphaderm® Dicapo RSPO/MB - Emollient, humectant, preservative

Cosphaderm® Dicapo is a raw material with many useful functions for intended use in cosmetic formulations. Caprylyl glycol, as a member of the glycol family, is a humectant with the ability to moisturize and regenerate skin and hair. Dipropylene glycol acts as a good solvent with odor masking and viscosity control effects. Glyceryl caprylate is a high-purity monoester of glycerin and caprylic acid. In addition to its main action as a humectant and emulsifier, it also has a moisturizing and skin-moisturizing property. All three substances have one important thing in common – and that is a significant antimicrobial effect. Their combination provides comprehensive protection for all types; against bacteria, yeasts and molds in a wide pH range (3.5–7.0).
