Description
Low molecular weight sodium hyaluronate, modified with caproic acid and dispersed in oil
INCI: ricinus communis seed oil, sorbitan olivate, sodium hyaluronate, caproic acid
Recommended concentration: 1-2%, COSMOS
Activity:
- Hair and lip smoothing
- Hydrophobized form helps better penetration
- Soothing effect on the skin
- Improvement of skin barrier and hydration
- Reduction of sebum and pores
Compatibility and processing:
- Partially incompatible (precipitation may occur): Capric caprylic triglyceride, evening primrose oil, jojoba oil and rosehip oil.
- HA-OIL is added to the formulation as is.
- For oil products (lip balms, hair oils), it is recommended to add HA-OIL to the heated oil phase (75°C) and maintain this temperature for at least 30 minutes (with stirring).
- Solubility: Insoluble in water, partially soluble in oil (the product is a dispersion, not a solution).
