MELINOIL™ is a unique oil-soluble active component that stimulates the skin's defense mechanisms against UV damage. It is an α-MSH biomimetic peptide designed to protect cells from UV rays, thereby limiting the damage that leads to premature aging of the skin. This mechanism is patented and microemulsified with phospholipids in the oil phase. Extremely small droplet size (< 100 nm) and a specific water/oil/phospholipid ratio results in a transparent oil that is then suitable for transparent oil products such as sun and after-sun oils and oil serums.

Description

MELINOIL™ stimulates melanin synthesis, and a higher percentage of melanin in the epidermis increases pigmentation and doubles the intensity of tanning, which creates better protection for the skin from harmful UV rays. Furthermore, this active component limits premature cell aging and reduces skin redness and sunburn.

Recommended concentration:
– protective effect: 0.5 – 2%
– calming effect: 0.5 – 5%
– DNA protection and repair: 0.5%
– accelerated tanning effect: 1 – 2%
