The anti-cellulite gel is formulated as a multifunctional cosmetic system that targets the key structural mechanisms involved in the formation and progression of cellulite: adipocyte hypertrophy, microcirculation disorder, local inflammation, fibrosis of the hypodermis, retention of interstitial fluid and degradation of the dermal matrix. The formulation combines lipolytic, draining and firming active ingredients that have shown effects on adipocyte metabolism and skin biomechanics. The PROVISLIM™ complex with fisetin and frambinone acts on the regulation of adipocyte activity through the stimulation of basal and induced lipolysis and the inhibition of lipogenesis and adipogenesis, which shifts the metabolic balance towards the mobilization and consumption of lipids instead of their storage. Fisetin additionally shows a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effect, thereby contributing to the reduction of local inflammatory activity associated with remodeling of adipose tissue.
