We love summer, but our skin barrier often remembers it a little differently. Prolonged exposure to UV radiation, heat, sea salt, chlorinated water, and air-conditioned spaces can disrupt the skin’s balance, increase water loss, and leave it dry, rough, tight, and lacking in natural radiance. That’s why skin doesn’t just need hydration after summer; it needs serious renewal.
The workshop will focus on the skin’s lipid barrier and ceramides, its key building blocks. Ceramides, together with cholesterol and fatty acids, fill the space between the cells of the stratum corneum, like a protective “cement”. When they are not enough or their natural organization is disrupted, the skin has difficulty retaining water and becomes more sensitive to external influences.

That’s why during the workshop we will learn how to use the formulation to act simultaneously on three important levels: gently remove rough surface cells, replenish moisture, and restore the skin’s lipids necessary to restore its protective barrier.
Through five trendy formulations for face and body, we will explore how to properly combine ceramides, humectants, emollients, and biomimetic lipids into textures that are not only functional, but also sensorially appealing. We will create products that hydrate, smooth, restore softness, and help skin regain a sense of balance and comfort.
POST-SUMMER SKIN RESET is not a workshop about covering up the effects of summer, but a workshop about understanding the skin and formulating its complete return.
