Shea butter / Cold pressed

It perfectly protects the skin from drying out, nourishes it and creates a protective film. It is suitable for the care of all skin types, especially dry and mature skin. It is used to treat sunburn, diaper rash, dermatitis, scars, wrinkles and stretch marks. In the cosmetic industry, it is most often used in lip and hand care products. It contains a large amount of so-called unsaponifiable substances (active substances dissolved in triglycerides), which are mostly composed of cinnamic acid esters. They are found in over 4% in cold-pressed and unrefined butter. These compounds absorb UV rays, so it is one of the basic ingredients of sun protection cosmetics, along with Chilean raspberry and Chilean hazelnut.

The color varies from pale, light yellow to yellow and beige. The texture can be creamy or more granular. At room temperature, two phases can be separated - a solid and a liquid phase.

For a creamy consistency, you need to warm the shea butter slightly and mix well.
