They are found in over 4% in cold-pressed and unrefined butter. These compounds absorb UV rays, so it is one of the basic ingredients of sun protection cosmetics, along with Chilean raspberry and Chilean hazelnut. The color varies from pale, light yellow to yellow and beige. The texture can be creamy or more granular. At room temperature, two phases can be separated - a solid and a liquid phase. For a creamy consistency, you need to warm the shea butter slightly and mix well.
